The LifeWrap - Safe Motherhood Programs
Every year over half a million women die from pregnancy and childbirth related complications.
Almost all of these deaths occur in developing countries and most are preventable.
The leading cause of death is obstetric hemorrhage; women bleed to death before they get the care they need.
The LifeWrap is a first-aid device that can save these women’s lives.
For over six years, we have been training health care providers in the prevention and treatment
of obstetric hemorrhage and implementing the LifeWrap in clinics and hospitals in low-resource countries,
